Leadership in the Panhellenic Community

As Vice President of Recruitment for the LSU Panhellenic Council, I was responsible for planning and executing Recruitment 2010. This included scheduling and presenting at high school informational sessions across Louisiana and Texas, speaking at LSU orientation sessions, and leading a team of recruitment directors. After many months of planning and organizing, we were able to execute the largest Panhellenic Recruitment in LSU history with over 1,000 participants and 10 chapters.

Recruitment Manual - The recruitment manual is a binder that was compiled and distributed to all 10 chapters and advisors in order to communicate procedures and protocols as well as the schedule for the week of recruitment. Many drafts and revisions were made, but ultimately the final product was a working manual that kept everyone on the same page and provided correct and up-to-date information.

Girl Talk Magazine - This magazine was designed to give the potential member all of the information that she would need for recruitment as well as helpful tips to make the process easier. Girl Talk was a collaborative effort with the Director of Recruitment Publications.

Potential Member Journal - Each of the potential new members that participated in recruitment received a PM journal. The journal was made as a tool to help them throughout the week long process by providing important information as well as giving them a place to write down their experiences or reminders.

Panhellenic Recruitment T-shirt - The recruitment t-shirt is worn by all potential members for the second round of recruitment. Companies in the Baton Rouge area were given the opportunity to sponsor the t-shirt in order to have their logo on the back of the shirt.
